Important Update on IMCA Legislative Network
This is a critical time for legislative and regulatory reform in the financial services industry. As always, IMCA’s aim is to strive to improve the benefits and services we offer to our members. After reviewing a good deal of member research and considering the prudent and strategic allocation of member resources, the IMCA membership committee and the board of directors feel that our resources should be allocated toward developing and delivering in-depth and comprehensive analysis of legislative and regulatory issues that affect the various types of IMCA members.

Currently our Legislative Network gives members the ability to subscribe to state and federal legislative and regulatory e-mail reports. Effective January 1, 2010, IMCA will no longer provide this subscription service, and we are in the process of developing a relationship with a partner who can provide our members with greater analysis and in-depth coverage of the regulatory and legislative issues that will most impact you, your firms, and your clients. You should expect to see this new content focus in the late first quarter or early second quarter of 2010. In the interim, we will continue to keep you informed of government actions that affect the financial services industry through eNews. For more information about IMCA's Legislative Network, click here. If you have any questions please e-mail Carrie Phillips, IMCA's Legislative Monitor.
